Those reminders of loved ones who have passed, like their birthdays rolling around always causes pangs. Time goes by so fast when you think about how long they have been gone.

It's sunny and in the lower 80s with low humidity. Breezy but not as gusty as the past few days. I have several pails with small branches and twigs to put out to the curb this evening, plus the pail with the cut wisteria vines. Tomorrow the hotter temperatures and humidity return. My arthritis loves the heat. The muscles and joints loosen up. But I am no fan of high humidity.

I just got home from my primary doctor's appointment a little a while ago, just a check-in appointment to let him know what's going on with me. When I go back in September he'll order a round of check-up bloodwork.

I should grab the laundry from the clothes hamper and change my bedding and place it all in laundry bags to go to the laundromat tomorrow. My other Target sheet set should arrive tomorrow. Hopefully the UPS driver will be in our neighborhood at a reasonable time so I can get it washed with everything else. My sister who is off house and pet sitting will be back tomorrow night, so there goes the peace and quiet.

I should heat up my ham steak for dinner, eat part of it and cube and freeze the rest for dinnertime omelettes. I had an omelette for dinner last night with seasonings and muenster cheese melted into it. I folded it up and put it on bread to make an omelette sandwich with those Wild Wonders tomatoes in parmesan peppercorn salad dressing on the side. Very tasty and a nice simple summertime meal.
