rain afternoon but none this morning. rained all day yesterday everything wet. not good for wash drying.  yesterday high was 70 and then got lower

daughter come to lunch today. so far on stove is pork and dry beans.  will fry some potatoes with onions.  got beets from garden that is salad. and sitting here thinking no dessert.. so got up and made a cherry pie its in oven. i made crust but cherries were in a can. we can not grow cherries here. will have a lot of cooling to do before daughter comes. do not know why i did not think of it yesterday. usually make the day before but thinking cap was not on

looking at calendar grands birthday monday. so if she wanted to go eat sunday will not go to lake. got to find this out. but they all wait till last minute. has always burned me up. got her gifts in closet picked up here and there.. this was the week end i was going to go up to lake spend week end.. but if monday eating will go week end. the 9th was james birthday. then niece next week all used to celebrate together. 

when daughter was here she opened garage to fill mower tires, in runs ninna getting here favorite ball. been missing over a month. i looked all over yard for it and could not find . wonder why. ha. she is happy. she knew where she left it. i do not go in garage often
