The medical building is diagonally across the street from city hall and the police station. There are lots of large radio antennas and radar dishes on the police station roof and it seems to be interfering with cell phone reception in the immediate area so it's extremely difficult to get web pages to load on cellphones, and to get apps like the rideshare apps to open and work properly so I had to walk up the street further away from the police station vicinity and stand in front of another doctors and lawyers building in order to get the rideshare apps to function at all, and it took multiple tries. There were no available cars from the county rideshare so I had to take an Uber to the library. Unlike last time the library photocopy machine didn't lock up on me, so I was able to quickly get in and out with my copies. It was in the low 80s with low humidity and just a slight breeze so it was a pleasant walk home.
From now on I'm going to have to book my rides home from my PT sessions way in advance using the app here at home, since you can book rides on Uber hours, days or even months in advance. I'll set them up for pickup like a half hour after my sessions are set to end to give me wiggle room in case my sessions run late, or if I want to walk two doors down to my bank to get cash from the ATM.
It's been cloudy all day but the sun is finally starting to make an appearance. It's in the 80s and more humid, but not oppressively though. I should mow the lawn in a while. I have to sort my laundry to take to the laundromat tomorrow afternoon. I'm waiting on UPS to drop off my order from Kohl's and the bulk of my order from Michaels. Two skeins of Caron yarn will be delivered separately later this week.
