We had light rain yesterday afternoon into the evening then fog. It's cloudy and in the low 70s but with the dampness it feels much cooler even though there's no wind. We'll get more rain showers soon with a cold front coming through.
Tomorrow the high temperature will be only about 60 degrees. I have my lung function test followed by my follow up visit with the pulmonologist an hour afterwards in the same suite at that newer medical building fifteen minutes up the closest highway. Fortunately the waiting areas are large and spread out and have very cushy seating. Sofas, plush chairs, coffee tables. They look more like lounges in fancy hotels than doctor appointment waiting rooms. Plus there's a small cafe on the ground floor. The whole building looks like a pricey office complex for prestigous firms, not like a medical building that it really is, with office suites of patient exam rooms, a section for medical testing and imaging, a physical therapy place, and a cancer treatment center in an ajoining building I'll be there for a decent portion of the afternoon so I will take the novel I am currently reading with me.
I have been spending the weekend doing some spring cleaning and reorganizing. All my long sleeved tops and already washed heavy cardigans and jackets are packed away. I took out my warm weather workout clothes for PT and the rest of my capris and linen pants. I still need to wash my two winter coats and a couple of other colder weather jackets on laundry day then pack them away. I really only need just two lighter fleecy jackets to wear out on cooler days or evenings at this point and my light weight spring/summer/fall cardigans. I still have a few warm blankets handy and am using them at night, but packed the rest away and pulled out the summer lightweight blankets to have them handy. I still need to pack away the flannel sheets sets. I'm only using the cotton percale sets at this point.
