That's always tricky in the spring and fall. Layering with a cardigan or light fleece jacket you can take off in the afternoons is what I usually do.
It's drizzling and in the 60s. Definitely feeling cooler than yesterday's high temp in the mid 80s. The rain should get steadier later on towards dinnertime and end late night. My arthritis is not happy with the weather. The yard waste was picked up before the rain started. We had a period of really strong wind gusts whipping around later yesterday afternoon so I had to go out and gather twigs and small branches off the lawn and sidewalk. A small tree limb came off one of the city trees down the street by the school. With the dry conditions and the winds we had a yellow flag fire danger warning yesterday for the tri-state area. Fortunately no brushfires popped up anywhere. We're not expecting that much rain later. We're definitely still in moderate drought with no end in sight
I ordered a pair of Boye knitting needles from Amazon and they arrived with the packaging open and one needle missing. I called up Amazon customer service and they will send a replacement pair. They need to be more careful with the knitting needles at that warehouse, it's the second time I had a missing part ordering a single pair of knitting needles. Boye has more delicate packaging to begin with vs other brands. So when I get the replacement pair I will have a spare needle.
I should organize the recycling later this afternoon to put to the curb tomorrow night since tomorrow is my second round of knee gel injections and they will be stiff and sore afterwards. I'm not going to be in the mood tomorrow for standing and bending my knees as I sort the recycling out into its proper containers. Overdoing it after getting the knee injections can make the knees become extremely stiff to the point they temporarily lock up making it difficult to stand and walk, and that can be pretty painful. You really need to take it easy the rest of the day after getting the shots and the day afterwards too.
