I also have the Home Depot green metal mesh peanut feeder for shelled nuts. Unfortunately it doesn't stop the squirrels, but they cannot bite through the thick metal and damage it the way they can bite through and ruin standard shelled peanut feeders that just use regular chicken wire.
It was in the mid 40s last night and it's just in the 50s with a stiff breeze. Feels more like mid March than early May. It will get warmer for a couple of days starting tomorrow but be cooler again by late week into next weekend.
Just getting ready for the new week here. One scheduled medical appointment this week, the second set of knee injections set for Thursday. Next week is a busier week with medical appointments and my asthma lung function test and I will have to call the PT place to set things up to schedule restarting my physical therapy sessions. I should schedule the evaluation for some time next week and start the sessions in earnest the following week.
