Years ago the neighborhood Catholic church had a yearly plant sale and swap. Things like that don't happen around here anymore, unfortunately.
It's a sun and clouds mix and cool in the upper 50s, with the possibility of light rain showers this evening.
Just a quiet day here. Most of yesterday's laundry is still hanging to fully dry. What's dry needs to be put away. If it stays quiet next door with the obnoxious neighbors away for the day I should mow the lawn in a while. They still are big on the standing out in their front yard and voyeuristically watching/staring at people doing things in their yards in this part of the neighborhood and loudly gossiping about them, when they're at home in the warmer months. It's creepy and weird and I try to avoid them as much as possible. I still have to quit doing yardwork and such in the backyard from time to time because they'll look through the slats in the fence to watch what I am doing and gossip.
I'm doing spring reorganizing and setting aside some things no longer needed, such as older clothing still in decent shape that could be dropped off for donation at the Salvation Army thrift store somewhere along the line.
I ordered Miracle Grow powdered plant food for flowering plants from Amazon and it arrived yesterday. I should mix up a gallon of plant food water using an empty water jug saved for that purpose and start feeding the hibiscus every couple of weeks. It still goes down into the 40s a lot of nights so it's still too soon to move the hibiscus back outside. The plants I moved outdoors early last month all look good. When it doesn't rain I hand water them on a steady basis so they're all in good shape.
