I haven't had a tomato soup cake in ages. That's something my mom liked to bake. I have never made one myself.

They're running news stories about the fires, the Georgia and Florida fires, and now there is a problem in Colorado too. Too much of the country has drought. It's crazy having forest fire problems at the same time the Midwest is being battered by severe thunderstorms triggering huge tornados.

It's just be a quiet day here heading into a quiet evening. Just light chores today. It had just been in the lower 60s with a stiff breeze but it's getting cooler now. Tomorrow we get the rain with colder temps just in the low 50s in the morning with temperatures dropping through the 40s tomorrow afternoon. A chilly March-like weekend. I did my smaller Amazon/Whole Foods order today and will do the larger Stop and Shop delivery on either Sunday or Monday, after the rain.
