It's in the low 50s and breezy, sun and clouds mix. It went down into the mid 30s last night. It's supposed to be a couple of degrees milder tonight but still pretty chilly.

It's Nigel's birthday today. His cat wand toy arrived yesterday and is very nice. It's American made by a company in Wisconsin.

I wound up doing yardwork yesterday afternoon instead of going to the laundromat. I really should go once the neighborhood middle school kids are dismissed from their afterschool clubs and programs and the school traffic is gone for the day. This burst of cold air is bothering my arthritis. A little bit of knee pain and stiffness. Definitely more pain and stiffness with my right hand, wrist, and elbow. I need to take some ibuprofen before I go to the laundromat. I'm right handed and my wrist and hand are pretty sore. The front lawn could use its first mow of the season after I get back, and the yard waste needs to go to the curb for tomorrow's pickup.
