Since I use the Opera browser Boardhost can't pick up on it having a built in ad blocker. I stopped using Google Chrome because Boardhost can detect the Chrome ad blocker and forces you to shut it off. I have problems posting here with that sporadic requirement you must type in that series of numbers to prove you are not a spammer after you click on 'post' and sometimes get accidentally sent to another Boardhost page altogether. This site can get glitchy in general. I have lost posts at times too.
It's overcast, heading to the upper 60s this afternoon. The last of the crocuses and snowdrop flowers are gone. Still no daffodil flowers, just their tall slender leaves. Flower buds are now visible on our trees. No pussywillows on our willow tree. It doesn't grow them every year. Probably related to the drought.
Either laundry later this afternoon or tomorrow. I am taking care of random things around the house, plus buying a few more smaller household items with that big Amazon sale. My cheapy drugstore sunglasses broke in my purse so I ordered a pair of sunglasses yesterday, which will arrive tomorrow. I will order a new eyeglasses case today. My old case doesn't stay shut anymore. I have an appointment with the dry eye specialist in two weeks. Most appointments he doesn't dilate my eyes, just puts the dye in them to check the surface of my eyes for inflammation levels and to make sure my chronic dry eye isn't causing tiny surface ulcerations. But occasionally he does dilate my eyes since he is keeping an eye out (unintended pun there) for inflammation deeper inside the eye caused by the chronic dry eye and his knowing I have an autoimmune disorder and that can definitely affect the eyes. So a new pair of sunglasses are a must right now just in case.
I watered the outdoor plants yesterday. There were a few very light rain showers west and south of us in the evening but nothing here. The change in barometric pressure though did cause my left ankle to throb in the evening, fortunately some ibuprofen put an end to that. We're supposed to get rain showers overnight tonight and I can already feel that in my left ankle with soreness since I am a human barometer with my arthritis, but I will probably water the plants again this afternoon anyway since the air is so dry. The cat's fur has become bit staticy when you pet him, so that's a clear signal how dry our air has become again.
