It's cloudy and in the 50s. The sun will come out this afternoon and it should go up to 70 degrees. Then tonight into tomorrow morning we'll get rain with a cold front where the temperatures will drop overnight and all tomorrow morning and it will only be in the 40s and windy by lunchtime. The rain should be gone before I have to take an Uber to the next county for my orthopedist appointment tomorrow afternoon. It's further north and a bit of a higher elevation there, cooler temps than here so I will need to dress warm since strong wind gusts could make it feel like the 30s outside. It will be chilly again Saturday, high temp only in the 40s, then gradually get milder next week.

I snapped a couple of pictures of another light purple crocus opening up yesterday. The hyacinths are making progress in their growth and should be open by Easter. Still no daffodil flowers, just the leaves. I don't know what's taking them so long. The bright yellow ones should be up and open by now with the pale yellow flowers soon to follow.

I decided to wait until the weekend to have a supermarket delivery. Tomorrow they pick up the recycling so that needs sorting this afternoon. Amazon has that spring sale going on so I'm pricing out some household basics on there I may buy like their house brand 30 gallon trash bags. I only have one big trash bag left and could use more for spring cleaning where some old stuff needs tossing out. Since I recycle we typically produce very little garbage so I just have a couple of wastebaskets scattered throughout the house with small 4 gallon trash bags in them.
