It's cloudy and is currently in the low 40s. We had rain starting last night until lunchtime. It's the end of temperatures in the mid 60s for a while. A cold front came through so the temperatures have been dropping since last night. It was still 50 degrees first thing this morning. It will get down to freezing tonight.

Just taking care of odds and ends around the house. The rheumatologist's office called me to set up an appointment for the beginning of June. It's up-county and in the morning so that will be fun taking an Uber up the highway at morning rush hour. Unfortunately she isn't currently doing afternoon appointments. Why do the rheumatologists in my county all have their offices up county in the mountains??

I was looking online at plastic cake holders on Amazon and Walmart's websites. They certainly went up in price. I was thinking about baking cakes to have as desert again. I haven't done that in years. A decent cake holder is $25+ now. Some of them cost closer to $35. Inflation is just awful. I was expecting a decent basic one would be around $15.
