There are small leaves emerging from the ground from the irises. The earliest forsythia flowers are starting to pop open but it's a bit too soon for a full bloom. That's probably a week or so away. It's too soon for the hyacinth and the African violets since we had the lingering snow and cold through earlier this month.
I am thinking about buying flower seeds for the front lawn planters. I've been looking at assorted types of heritage seeds available on Amazon. April and early May are the seed starting times up here.
April will be a busy month with assorted medical appointments and that actually starts at the end of this month with my seeing the foot and ankle orthopedist this coming Friday. I will ask her for a new physical therapy prescription dated for late next month so I can finish recovering from this autoimmune flare up first before I go back to PT. Starting next week I have April appointments with the new pulmonologist, the dermatologist, the dry eye specialist, and with the knee orthopedist to arrange for me to get the next series of hyaluronic acid gel injections for my knees in May.
I need to set up an appointment with the new rheumatologist. It's also time for me to make an appointment at the radiology place on the other side of town for a mammogram. I'm way past due for one and have a prescription from my doctor.
