So yesterday afternoon my order arrived for my square knitting needles which are packaged in a recloseable baggie but the knitting needles themselves were missing from the baggie. They weren't loose in their mailer. They probably fell out of the baggie at the Amazon warehouse. So I called Amazon for a refund. These addi needles are mainly sold on Amazon by small businesses but are mostly fulfilled by Amazon. The CRS told me the business owner should have put them into a second sealed bag since their baggie opens easily. I ordered a replacement pair through a different business owner and an Amazon driver should deliver them this afternoon. I'm curious to get my hands on them. I've heard of square knitting needles before but you don't see them in person often.
For my crochet hooks I prefer the Susan Bates inline hooks. The only different brands are mainly for the sizes of Tunisian hooks Susan Bates doesn't produce, plus the in-between crochet hook sizes that are more commonly sold internationally but not so much in the US- the 3mm, 7mm, and 7.5mm sizes which you need to buy online. It's the same with the 7mm and 7.5mm knitting needles. There is one company out of California who makes those size knitting needles which are easy to buy online. The crochet hooks are a bit trickier because these sizes sell out more quickly than the knitting needles especially for finding the 3mm and 7.5mm, especially the 3mm in inline hooks. On the other end of the scale it's trickier finding the super thin lace knitting needles in retail stores. You must buy them online. The only size left of them I still need to purchase is the 0.8mm ones for very delicate lacework.
i get up several times at night too to get to bathroom but can get back to sleep. i think i go more at night then daytime
My bladder irritation is mimicking a UTI without me actually having a UTI. I am going more often than the typical getting up to go once or twice during the night. So I simply lose the ability to fall back to sleep then have to resort to taking short cat naps where I wind up rushing upstairs to go again right after the nap. For immunocompromised people human metapneumovirus can cause all sorts of post viral problems including digestive tract problems. They should have specified it can also mimic a UTI that can limit your ability to get a full night's sleep. I'm still achy but it's at the point the bladder irritation is a much bigger annoyance than the body aches because I can sleep through the aches and take Tylenol or ibuprofen if I need to but the frequent bathroom trips are too much. It's not as bad during the day, it's definitely lying down that greatly increases the frequency. I have to be careful to drink enough liquids to avoid dehydration issues.
