It's cloudy heading up to the low 60s this afternoon. So far it's been on and off lighter rain showers. The thunderstorm squall lines will come through later this afternoon and evening. We already have weather warnings including a flood watch. There were warnings on the news about gusts as high as 70 mph tonight. I will have to bring in the bird feeders later and store them in the basement overnight so they don't get blown off the double sheppard's hook in the backyard and get damaged. The storms are supposed to be more intense in western NJ and Pennsylvania but it could still get rough here. Western NJ and eastern Pennsylvania right along the NJ border are at a low tornado risk. The rest of Pennsylvania down through West Virginia, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia are at moderate tornado risk. This is part of that system which dumped a lot of snow out in Minnesota the other day. I don't think the tornado risk extends as far east as my area. We're more heavy rain/localized flooding/bad wind gusts but likely no twisters. It's an indoor chore day and I am pacing myself since I'm still tired and hurty. I also have to properly fold up and put away all that clean laundry that's currently sitting in big blue Ikea bags. Last Friday I signed up for membership at my local PBS station since they're doing matching pledge drive. Since I am on a tight budget and the costs of everything continues to go up, I just signed up for the five dollars a month pledge. But for some reason the email with the passcode for signing up for PBS Passport is getting blocked by my Gmail account so I may have to call their technical support line later. I watch PBS a lot so joining was something I wanted to do for a while and this is a good time with the matching corporate pledge that brings it up to ten dollars per month that they will get for my joining.
