I have a doctor's appointment later this afternoon with my primary care doctor. The underarm lymph nodes on my left side are still swollen and throbbing and burning. I had to take a combination of Tylenol and ibuprofen again last night to get to sleep but didn't get enough sleep at all. The pain radiates to my back so it's difficult getting comfortable lying down either on my side or my back. I have swelling and soreness with the underarm nodes on my right side too but nowhere near not as bad. My digestive system is still hurty too. What a miserable illness this has been. I was going to call to change my Friday orthopedist appointment but her office called me. She has surgery on Friday so I changed my appointment until the end of the month. I still have to reschedule next Monday's dermatology appointment. I just need time to recover from this virus and don't feel up to running to these medical appointments over in the next county that can wait for a while. I haven't scheduled an appointment with the new rheumatologist either for the same reason in case a new patient appointment slot opened up right away. It's been three weeks of this already. I wish this would all go away but apparently this virus makes some people feel lousy for a month or more before all the symptoms finally go away especially for the immunocompromised.
Despite feeling lousy I did spend a little time outdoors in the warmth yesterday afternoon and snapped a couple of pictures of the first of the snowdrop clusters. Tomorrow is the last day it will hit 70. It's actually two months too soon for these warm temperatures. By late week it will only get up into the 40s, which is actually normal for mid March, since it should be in the mid to upper 40s. But by next Tuesday the highs will be only in the upper 30s, potentially more polar vortex coldness coming. They're saying a possibility for snow showers by then.
