It's cloudy, heading up to the low 50s this afternoon. A break from the rain today but showers will return for tomorrow and Friday. I'm glad it's rain and not snow.
My local sister moved back home last night. Unfortunately. She's just become very curmudgeonly, her non-stop crabbing is not fun to deal with.
So I had my doctor's appointment yesterday, with the original MD not his partner the nurse practitioner I had been seeing lately. So my lungs are clear which is great news. I'm still getting the last of the congestion out of my
sinuses so he said to just keep using the Tussin expectorant a couple of times a day. I'm still achy and tired but it's going to take a while for my body to fully recover. It always does.
He also gave me a referral for a new rheumatologist since I have had no luck with the two I had seen already who didn't want to be bothered even though I have all those abnormal tests indicating autoimmune disorder(s).
I also have an appointment to see a pulmonologist set for early next month. Most of the time my asthma behaves itself, it's just when I pick up a respiratory infection it can go into my lungs and become a serious problem. But that's pretty common for people with asthma to begin with.
I have deliveries coming this afternoon- food from Amazon/Whole Foods, a couple of non-food items from Amazon, plus a small delivery from Walmart. I should sort out my laundry so I can get some clothes washed at the laundromat either tomorrow or Friday, dodging the rain showers. On the weekend while it's dry and mild in the 60s I will have to walk down to Walgreens. I can get another bottle of their liquid hand soap with the lavender oil which smells really nice, and that will give me the opportunity to take out money cashback from my PayPal account at the register. It stinks not having paper money on hand, just a plastic sandwich bag filled with quarters. I had been keeping a emergency spare two hundred dollars in the house in addition to the cash I normally had in my purse. But the last of that went to have the sidewalk and front part of the driveway shoveled out- total rip off but they all overcharge. So some time this month I will have to take the rideshare to my bank so I can take a couple hundred dollars out at once. It will have to be a warmer sunny day since you can wait up to a half hour for the rideshare and that means standing outside the bank waiting, so I need a nice day for that.
