The long bitter cold weather we had really knocked the wind out of my sails and has aggravated my arthritis in a big way so it's going to take a little bit of time for my body to get used to the PT workouts again. My muscles and joints are definitely happier when the daytime temperatures are in the 80s and 90s. Baseball pitchers and catchers are already at spring training with full squad workouts soon to start. Preseason baseball starting in a few weeks is a sure sign spring is coming and I can't wait!
With Amazon closing their Amazon Fresh retail stores to just focus on home delivery they have now added some perishable food items to the list of items Prime members can get delivered for free same-day in the afternoon or evening if you order $25+ of eligible items early in the day. It used to be only shelf-stable items had that free same-day delivery offer. The perishable food items used to have a $100 minimum for free home delivery. I ordered some fresh organic spinach which just arrived. My shelf stable items will get here around dinnertime. I already have Wild Wonder tomatoes in the house, so I can add the fresh spinach and some ranch dressing for my dinnertime veggies for a couple of days. I'm thinking maple flavor breakfast sausage links, cheesey grits, and the tomatoes and spinach for dinner tonight. Something simple, something flavorful to eat. Since tomorrow is Valentine's Day I am treating myself to some chocolates which will arrive later- Dove chocolates and Reese's peanut butter cups.
