I have a couple of pairs of thicker socks including two that are fleece lined, but it's not really a sock issue , it's just that winter cold seeps into the bones no matter what. The air is cold and super dry, very low humidity, extremely low dew points, and we get dry cold fronts that cause barometric pressure changes. It all together triggers worsening inflammation and flare ups. I sleep under flannel sheets with several warm blankets so I am toasty, and always wear socks to bed in the colder months, but I still wake up with bone/joint pain and stiffness anyway and this weather is triggering the plantar fasciitis in my bad foot as well.
