It's sunny and above freezing for a change, well up into the 30s. This is the first time it's been above freezing here in two weeks. We get the milder temperatures for a couple of days then the arctic blast returns for the weekend with some snow. The east coast is supposed to be colder than normal well into the month of February. The typical temperatures for early February should be about 40 degrees in the afternoons with overnight lows in the upper 20s. That's not going to happen any time soon. I'm guessing Staten Island Chuck also saw his shadow this morning since it's been sunny all day. We're definitely not getting an early spring here. OTOH, the West Coast has had a mild winter and is heading for an early spring.

It's just the typical home day chores here. The lengthy bitter cold temperatures have made me tired and achy.
