Yesterday was sunny with highs in the mid 40s and it's the same for today. Yesterday was my dermatologist appointment and she gave me a prescription for Amlactin skin cream which my HMO is actually paying for even though you can also buy it over the counter.

This morning I spent some time reading the mystery novel I am in the middle of and now it's time for lunch. I have my eye doctor appointment with the dry eye specialist this afternoon then need to stop by the drug store afterwards for my prescriptions.

I'm keeping an eye on the weather reports. At first they were thinking those two weather systems, the one down by Florida and the one in the upper Midwest were going to merge into a big storm that would give us 10 inches of snow on Thursday but they're currently thinking the two systems won't merge and we'll get rain showers Thursday afternoon and a coating of snow Thursday night. I'm hoping the current thinking is what actually happens. I don't want nearly a foot of snow. Starting Friday the afternoon highs will only be in the low to mid 30s again with overnight lows in the low 20s for a while. I'll have to bring the plants in the side yard back down into the basement tomorrow.
