It's mostly sunny and cold. It will only just go above freezing this afternoon. No 40+ degrees days until Tuesday. We're supposed to get light snow again later tonight. Just a coating of maybe half an inch fortunately. The snow that's left on the ground is hard and compacted so it won't melt off until we have 50 degree temperatures with showers later next week when we get our January thaw.

It's just a home day here taking care of the usual chores. I should pull out the mystery novel I started last weekend and read some more. It's from one of those cozy mysteries series where the amateur sleuth is a librarian, a common profession in cozies.
