We were fortunate that Saturday we only wound up with about 4 inches or so of snow, so that was clean up time. We had warnings about a potential ice storm starting dinnertime Sunday but the ice missed us. My one sister and I did get out to run to the Home Depot and Michaels in the afternoon though. Michaels had a buy one get one half off yarn sale. They had some of the Joann's Big Twist yarn mostly in solid colors.

Last night the temperature actually rose and we had fog. We had rain this morning through early afternoon. The temperature did make it up to 40 degrees. My one sister drove me to my dermatologist appointment this afternoon then we went to Ikea afterwards and had an early Swedish meatballs dinner in their cafe. I bought a bag of their frozen meatballs and a couple of packets of the gravy powder, along with small miscellaneous things, and their milk chocolate hazelnut candy bars of course.

Now we have a dry cold front coming through with nasty wind gusts over 40 mph. The winds won't calm down until Wednesday night so I can't put the recycling out for tomorrow morning because it will get blown around the neighborhood. We'll pack it into my sister's SUV to take to the recycling center later this week. Tomorrow the temperature will probably just be around the freezing mark in the afternoon. It will be colder than normal through the whole week.
