Do you have any World Market store locations in your city's strip malls or shopping centers? They will carry loose tea leaves. If there are any British or Irish items gift shops anywhere they probably would carry tins of loose tea leaves.
It's sun and clouds and in the mid 40s with just a light breeze. The calm before tomorrow night's snow storm. My phone just received yet another winter weather advisory. They started yesterday morning. Now they're thinking 4 to 8 inches of snow. Not what we need.
Christmas Eve was spent relaxing watching tv and my more pleasantly tempered sister brought up a knitting project she is working on, a fair isle knit cap using several different patterns. So she knit for a while and I brought out one of my striped pattern crocheted pot holders in progress to work on for a bit.
So when my crabby sister came home from her dinner party my more pleasant sister asked her how her friends are doing and she replied they were doing okay. Then the conversation ended, but it's been the first time they said anything to each other in person since February of last year. I suspect my crabby sister will spend most of her time at home in her room watching the smaller tv she has in there until our other sister drives home later next week.
Dinner for this evening is still up in the air, if a basic meal will be put together from what's in the pantry and fridge or if we'll order a pizza. Gift exchange will happen after dinner.
Tomorrow will be pre-storm grocery shopping and errands with my southern sister and her SUV.
