It was sunny and in the mid 40s earlier. I got stuck running a last minute errand this afternoon using the county rideshare so no doing laundry. Otherwise I'm just getting ready for the holiday around the house.

The nuisance snow will start after midnight. So tomorrow will not be a day to go out. Wednesday and Thursday will be sunny and quiet. Another nuisance snow will start on Friday afternoon and run overnight then turn into a sleet/rain mix Saturday morning. Sunday will be rain. So next weekend will be all wet with mixed precipitation. Very frustrating!

My sister from Virginia will drive up likely overnight tomorrow night/early Wednesday morning. She works a full day tomorrow but all non-essential employees have Christmas Eve off.

My sister who lives here will spend Christmas Eve evening at her friends' house who make a lot of money and go all out with having a fancy catered dinner party every Christmas Eve. The rest of us will just have something fast and simple and probably relax watching tv.

Christmas Day dinner is still up in the air since you can't shop to make a special dinner if you can't shop in person at the supermarkets. When you order groceries online the store website only shows a quarter of the store's inventory. Plus if you're going to buy something like a spiral ham for dinner you really need to be able to shop in person and pick the one you like.
