Be careful to be sure it actually posts without requiring you to enter the anti-spam security numbers first before you close your browser or head to another website or else the system will delete your message. It's always best to make sure its there on the board first and open your post to read it to confirm. Boardhost is tricky with this. I know it's meant to stop spammers but it trips up legitimate group posters if you're not careful and will delete your post.
Heidi, I envy your 60 degrees temperature. It's in the upper 20s here and there is snow on the ground. The plows are out plowing and salting the roads. It's still mainly grey skies but the sun peeks out from time to time. I ate a couple of granola bars and drank a tall glass of Ovaltine chocolate milk- protein food for the snow shoveling I am going to have to do soon.
I woke up with the house cold and too quiet in the middle of the night, the power had gone out to the neighborhood while everyone was asleep and was back on by the time I slowly dragged myself out of bed. I had to toggle up the thermostat to make the furnace go on. The clock on the microwave was at 0000. Over an hour later I got a text message from the gas and electric company saying the power had been restored. The cold house plus dampness caused by the falling snow kicked off my asthma and my chest was tight. I had to use my Albuterol inhaler.
It will be down into the teens tonight with a high around 30 degrees tomorrow. The daytime temperatures won't go back to being where they should be for December, in the mid 40s, until Wednesday.
