It's in the low 40s, cloudy and will start raining in a while. This is probably the warmest day we'll have until the cold snap ends late next week. From Saturday night until Tuesday afternoon it will stay below freezing. The afternoon highs for Sunday and Monday are supposed to be in the upper 20s. I'm tired of this cold snap. We haven't had a normal temperature day at all this month and it's not supposed to get better until Thursday of next week.

Yesterday afternoon was chilly but fortunately above freezing with no gusty winds so I walked to the laundromat. Today is a home day with the rain showers soon to start. While I was sitting waiting on my laundry I ordered a box of Hallmark Christmas cards on Amazon that should get here tomorrow. The post office is next to Walgreens so I can drop off my cards while I'm down there to pick up my prescription. I only send out a handful of cards now. Social media, starting with Facebook, killed off card sending for a lot of people, plus there are the e-card websites where you're sending a holiday greeting animated image to their email.
