It's sunny but chilly in the 40s. Fortunately the breeze is light. I tripped over one of my sister's boxes of clutter this morning and banged up my knees and twisted the lower muscles in my bad foot by my instep and toes. Fortunately I didn't twist anything by that weak ankle. I went down hard on the palms of my hands so that just adds another level of pain to the hand soreness I already have from the arthritis. This happened right in front of her. No caring at all by her. She was annoyed I was blocking her way and left as soon as I managed to get off the floor and sit in a chair. Nice, right?

So I am still a bit sore and have bruises on my knees. I'm back from my doctor's appointment and am taking a sitting break before I walk down to the pharmacy to pick up my antibiotics for my sinus infection. The full physical exam and flu shot has been put off until later in the month when the infection is gone.

Pre-pandemic I only bought stuff online occasionally. But during lockdown it became a simple way to get assorted things I couldn't get easily in the stores. You still can't find everything in retail stores anymore and have to buy certain things online. Sometimes the deals are much better, like paying $10 for GenTeal bedtime dry eye gel or ointment on Amazon vs paying $21 for the comparable brand Systane ointment at Walgreens.
