I lost track of the ladybug in the house. The cat was trying to chase something flying around the living room last night but I couldn't see if it was the ladybug or a small moth that took refuge in the house. So far I haven't seen him chase anything today. As long as it's not a stink beetle. Sometimes stink beetles sneak in houses for the winter. That's happened to us before and generally I leave it alone if I find one to avoid it becoming odorous. The cat is more focused on his obsession with watching the squirrels out the windows today.
Most of the clothes I washed yesterday and hung up to dry finished drying so they're now folded and put away. Another day I'll have to take over bedding and unpack my winter coats and wash them. The new laundry cart works well. It's sturdy and carries the equivalent of one laundromat's large machine plus one small machine's worth of clothing. It's time for me to take out more winter clothing and store the rest of the warm weather things away. It was too windy and chilly to rake leaves today despite the sun. That will have to wait a day or two. It feels more like mid December vs. a week and a half into November.
I have three plants in the basement I'll put back outside when it gets warmer in a few days. I brought them in after dinner when the winds kicked up and the temperatures were plunging. When it was warm out I didn't need to fill the backyard bird feeders every day because nature provided. Now I am back to filling the seed feeder daily and I have a flock of neighborhood sparrows eating heartily. I'll need to order more shelled peanuts for the peanut feeder.
Tomorrow I have errands so I'll be dealing with the county rideshare or maybe just Uber.
