It's in the low 50s headed to the upper 50s, sun and clouds. My knees are stiff and achy from the knee injections yesterday. This is not the day to take the rideshare to the supermarket. I'll set up another grocery delivery order for the weekend instead. My knees were okay when I got home yesterday afternoon but the soreness kicked in later in the evening. Three injections for three weeks in a row is apt to make your knees rebel for a bit. The payoff will be a month from now the gel lubricant will hit full effect just in time for winter.

If my knees are better later this afternoon I'll walk a load of laundry down to the laundromat. Otherwise I'm just waiting on an order from Amazon.

I filled out the form online requesting door to door service from the county rideshare on the basis I walk with the ankle brace and cane out and about. So I am waiting to hear back on that approval. The pick up spot is just diagonally across the street from our house, but the pick up and drop off spot for the supermarket I go to most often is a quarter of a mile away from the store on a residential side street right off a very busy county road with entrance ramps and exit ramps to the elevated highway and you have to walk right in front of all those ramps. It's a stupid place to make grocery shoppers go to instead of just dropping them off or picking them up from the supermarket parking lot in the first place. It's a big parking lot so it's not like there isn't room. After all there are shoppers who use taxis, Uber and Lyft getting picked up and dropped off by the front doors.

I will have to get to the supermarket early next week and take some more cash out at checkout from PayPal. I'm just down to $20 aside from my emergency holding cash. I got an email notification that Stop and Shop is issuing free coupons for select chocolate bars at their stores now through the end of the month. I'm not giving out candy for Halloween but I wouldn't mind a free chocolate bar in addition to buying some Reese's peanut butter cups for myself.
