So I have to walk down to Walgreens in a while to pick up the new ointment. You can have an infection with either eczema or psoriasis simultaneously. So I have to see what happens with this. I should have taken pictures of the rash I developed on my neck back in June that I had to slather on a lot of hydrocortisone cream multiple times a day for several weeks to get rid of and that's never happened before.
I have a bunch of skin issues. I can't retain moisture in my skin at all. I already have dry skin problems with my wrists and hands that automatically starts as soon as the temperature gets cool/cold. The skin in like sandpaper. I wind up slathering a lot of moisturizer but it only helps somewhat. If I don't put lip balm on my lips multiple times per day year round they'll crack ridiculously easily and can bleed. Even though I use hyaluronic acid moisturizer on my face my skin gets tight and hurts. All of this has gotten worse over the years with the autoimmune stuff creeping up, just like the chronic dry eye and dry mouth situation. It would have been nice if the dermatologist hadn't been dismissive the second she walked in the door shutting down any potential conversation about my skin issues completely.
