It was chilly last night in the mid 50s. The house still has a chill despite it being sunny and milder out now. Four flowers opened up on the hibiscus yesterday. A couple more are ready to open any time now.

It's a home day here. I have to sort out the recycling to put to the curb later. Instead of tackling that yesterday I wound up doing yardwork including sweeping up more acorn leavings from the feasting squirrels that were all over part of the sidewalk. It's just been a bumper crop of acorns on the oaks this year.

i did not watch any of the funeral. i never heard of him till his death hit the news. where was he buried

I didn't really know who this guy was either. I try to ignore the social media manosphere as well as all the influencer types, be they political or celebrity oriented or the retail shopping guru variety. Things he's said over the years are being posted online and he had sexist attitudes and was nasty towards minority groups. Yeah, no thanks. He was on the tail end of the millennial generation. The younger millennials and the generation z twenty-somethings are all over the place with their thinking and behaviors, serious conflicts within their generational cohorts.

Social media and influencer culture is so incredibly bad for our society.
