Today was a phone call day, getting everything set for the hyaluronic acid gel injections vial to be delivered to my doctor's office. They switched over from CVS special delivery to Walgreens. I use both pharmacies normally so I'm already in their systems. I'll get a text notification from Walgreens when the vial is ready to deliver and again when it arrives at the doctor's office.
I also received a call to reschedule my upcoming foot and ankle orthopedist appointment with the new doctor. This one sees patients at the location I go to only on Fridays. So I scheduled my appointment for the middle of September, the week after my PT ends. My knee doctor appointments are always on a Thursday. With my now former foot and ankle orthopedist appointments were always on Tuesdays. My eye specialists oddly enough are only at their office near me on Tuesdays and Thursdays as well even though they are part of a different medical group practice. So my open days for scheduling PT sessions were Monday, Wednesday, Friday. So I have been going either Monday and Wednesday, or Wednesday and Friday. With Monday being Labor Day, this coming week it's Wednesday and Friday. The week after it will be Monday and Friday because that Wednesday I have my rheumatologist appointment up-county. That will be the last week of PT for this series of sessions. So I pushed back seeing the new doctor to not interfere with my remaining PT schedule.
After all that I picked up a few things at the supermarket and later texted my sister on Long Island to find out which day she's going to come pick up the cat. She'll drive back Sunday but no details on a time yet. My other sister is house/pet sitting again this weekend for her friend whose sister lives down the shore full time and they'll be at the beach again. So she left after dinner and it's quiet in the house again, just me and the pets. The quiet weekends are kinda nice and give me a chance to relax and recharge.
