We had a dry cold front come through last night with some gusty wind. It will hit 80 today but will only be in the low to mid 70s for much of the week with overnight lows in the upper 50s to low 60s.

It's a home day today. I'm tired and a little sore from PT yesterday. Just a little yardwork to tackle in a while and the basic housework. I feel too pooped out for anything else. Tomorrow is PT again and Thursday is the appointment with my knee orthopedist. I'll ask him to reorder the hyaluronic acid gel for the knee injections. It's been eight months since the last injections and my knees really need the shots again. The pain and stiffness problems are returning.

Sam the cat still hasn't settled in properly. He hides a lot of the time and is still rejecting Nigel's efforts to play with him. He still hisses and growls. Sam can be moody but Nigel isn't used to this sort of behavior. It's confusing him.

Michael's roll out of the formerly-Joann's Big Twist yarn is beginning and Big Twist should be in all the stores and available on their website by some time next month. I haven't been to any Michael's stores in the last couple of weeks so I don't know if they have it around here yet. I do know Big Twist yarn is popping up at store locations around the country and in some Michael's stores up in Canada.
