It's cloudy and we've had on and off showers this morning. It's definitely fall preview weather. It was 59 degrees last night, is currently in the mid 60s headed up to the low 70s. Tonight it will go back down into the upper 50s. It's definitely too soon for this. This is mid September weather not mid August weather. At least it will go back up into the 80s tomorrow and stay the way until the middle of next week when we're due for another shot of much cooler temps. I had to pull out a hoodie to wear yesterday evening and I slept under one of the warm fuzzy Big One blankets last night.

I frequently pass by that one house with the hardy hibiscus that can tolerate the winter on my drives to the one supermarket. You only see hardy hibiscus on lawns occasionally here. My tropical plant will likely need to be moved into the house next month considering the temperatures are going into a below normal pattern and they are predicting an early and cold winter for us. It's going to be time for me to flush out the boiler and add fresh water for the season soon. I suspect it's going to be in the 40s at night by the second half of September so the heat will go on in the house at night by then instead of early October.

It's a home day here. No more medical appointments this week. Just taking care of things around the house.
