It's sunny, a little less humid and heading to the upper 80s instead of the low 90s. No rain any time soon so the plants will need watering. The buds are getting bigger on my hibiscus but I'm still waiting for them to pop open so I can see the colors. Lots of noise in the neighborhood since nearby streets are being scraped for road repaving. I'm not sure when they'll scrape our street. Their scraping and repaving plan seems to be rather random. The last time our street was repaved was in 1999 when they replaced the sewer lines and also redid the sidewalks as part of a federal residential infrastructure repair and upgrades grant.

It's a housework day for me. I also need to get things ready for Sam. I'll have to get out a little blanket for him for the wing chair in the living room her likes to nap on. My sister will be dropping him off tomorrow afternoon before she heads out to Long Island. I have to pack up her yarn stash I bought for her earlier in the year at the Joann's clearance sales. It's mostly skeins of Lion Brand and Big Twist acrylic yarns, but there are several skeins of the K+C wool. So far one or two of the online craft supplies websites are selling the K+C cotton yarn but no one is currently selling the K+C wool line at all. Its fate still seems to be in limbo. No time for shopping or errands today. I'll worry about that on the weekend.

I also have to do a little more online bill pay. I renewed my AAA membership. I've been a member for 30 years already, how time flies!
