It's a home day here getting ready for a busy week. No errands since I picked up some groceries yesterday and gased up the car the other day. Tomorrow is my ENT doctor's appointment. I should get the results of the lip biopsy. I still haven't heard back from that mail order pharmacy out west. In all likelihood my insurance company isn't going to pay for those expensive eye drops and that's probably why I still haven't heard anything back. A month's supply sells for over $700 and this brand isn't listed as an approved drug in my HMO's formulary of prescription medications. Even if they did partially cover the cost it would probably be a pricey co-pay that would cost too much. I go back to the dry eye specialist in a couple of weeks anyway. I am using the OTC artificial tears a couple of times a day.
I still have to think about buying new glasses and my HMO will pay for basic frames but only pays part of or maybe nothing for the lenses themselves based upon the lense type and if they have a protective coating. That's why I need to check out America's Best next month. I don't know if Lensecrafters takes my insurance because they do give AAA membership discounts. I'm not sure about America's Best and if they give a similar AAA discount. Everything is so unnecessarily complicated now.
