It's hazy sun, in the mid 80s and very humid. No rain here yesterday and probably none today. It all went to South Jersey. I just came back from my optometrist appointment. They sell eyeglasses there but my with my HMO I have Davis Vision and they jacked up the co-pay on prescription eyeglasses so I just got a print out of my prescription since it would save money if I went to America's Best or maybe Vision Works for my new glasses instead.

My sister comes home from house/pet sitting later. There goes the peace and quiet. She has to have the living room tv blaring all the time. I don't. With mostly summer repeats some evenings I'm not watching very much. It's not good for the cat either. Ever since PBS started showing those life of dinosaurs episodes which go back and forth between footage of paleontologists digging up dinosaur bones with animated videos of how dinosaurs likely lived Nigel got freaked out watching computer generated dinos on tv and is now afraid of the tv set when it's on.

He is fine with the nature shows that have lions, cheetahs, elephants, etc but those realistic looking computer generated dinosaurs totally startle him.
