My eye doctor appointment went okay. Both eyes are dry of course but the more sensitive eye has more extreme dryness (no surprise there) and the underside of the eye lid has scarring. He wants me to use the artificial tears four times per day and have me samples of the Rephresh artificial tears with the flax seed oil. We wants me to use the Xiidra prescription eye drops but I suspect my HMO will refuse to cover this. So far they haven't covered any eye meds other than antibiotic eye ointment or drops. I go back to see him in mid August.

It's hazy, in the 80s and very sticky. We just had a little light rain yesterday evening with some thunder. We're due for more light rain this evening. I have PT in a while and am dragging. It's hard to sleep well with the sticky air and every morning for over a week now I get woken up by spam cell phone calls. I've had to block over a half dozen phone numbers, mostly from Michigan and Indiana. With the unpleasant weather once a call wakes me I can't get back to sleep. Just awful. Thankfully this is my last medical appointment of the week. I'll lie down for a while when I get back from PT.
