It's sunny, 89 degrees and slightly less humid than yesterday. Unfortunately we had no rain last night. I hand watered the plants in the planters in the front yard and will take care of the side yard plants soon. I wish it would have rained last night. One of our day lilies opened up. There are still more that will pop open soon. We have peach colored roses. Unfortunately last summer's drought did in one of our hydrangea bushes but the other one is filled with bright blue flowers.

It's a home day here. Getting ready for the new week. The recycling must be sorted to put out tomorrow. It's day three of the antics a juvenile chirpy bird that keeps flying around high in the trees so I can't see it, only hear it, who has been loudly chirping on and off throughout the days. Occasionally it makes a bluejay type call but it also made a different call yesterday afternoon that may indicate it's actually a juvenile mockingbird who is slowly learning to imitate other bird calls. Yesterday there was a juvenile crow in the backyard calling out to its parents to feed it. It's a busy family time of year in birdland.
