I'm at the laundromat right now. We just had a small amount of drizzle last night and this morning. We really need some rain after that hot spell. I hand watered several especially wilty plants but everything outside needs a drink. It may shower later tonight but it's very hit or miss. They seem to think a better chance of showers Monday night or Tuesday. It got up into the mid 80s earlier and is more humid. Fortunately it's still cool inside the house from having been cooler yesterday and Thursday.

Yesterday before dinner I cut out some more of that wisteria vine that's growing all over the place. I wonder how we wound up with wisteria in the first place. We never had it prior to about a dozen or so years ago.

This afternoon I pulled out a skein of chunky yarn I got from Michael's with the coupon last week and am trying a hexagon shaped granny square for that crazy quilt knit and crochet throw I want to make, a completely separate project from the other granny squares throw. This is something that's a change of pace from only making the grannies from those two Red Heart skeins of yarn. I see Amazon has that Tunisian crochet stitches manual I was looking at on sale, likely related to the pre-Amazon Days sales already in progress for Prime members. I'll have to order a copy soon.
