78 right now. its humid.. been out to  feed critters. i see 2 new biddies. sneaky hens. but she was proudly clucking with them

had my pan cakes and home made jam. and tea so all set till lunch

its letter writing morn. have 4 of them to answer. one took so long to answer i do not even remember her.other one writes often but long hand and nothing really in there. wonder why i write every week

mowed yesterday. grows so fast with rain and heat. need to weed whack and cut volunteer virginia creepers that are sprouting every where,
 
got a appointment with eye doc.  this afternoon i have what seems like grit in eye really brothers me.  i have eye drops do not seem to help. when i called thought they could give something over phone. but no its go and see. guess that is best
