My eyes didn't get completely back to normal until later last night. Apparently it takes longer if you have lighter color eyes and mine are blue. Fortunately the eye doctor's office is only about 6-7 blocks away and I keep sunglasses in the car.

It's a sun and clouds mix and hazy from wildfire smoke. The air quality has been poor because of that. Yesterday it reached 90 degrees. It's heading up to the mid 80s today. We're supposed to have a few bouts of rain showers this weekend. Maybe starting later this evening.

I changed my bloodwork appointment to Monday since I still need to take the antibiotic eye ointment. It's a stubborn lifelong problem with the chronic sinusitis sometimes triggering pinkeye infections. I don't want to be using antibiotics the day I have blood drawn in case that interferes with test results.

It's an errands afternoon for me. My eye doctor wants me to switch brands of artificial tears so I have to pick that up this afternoon from the drugstore, along with trips to the bank, supermarket, Home Depot, and Petco after I have lunch.
