It was sunny earlier but now we yellow haze from the Canadian wildfire smoke and an air quality alert. It's in the low 80s.

We had rain out of the blue yesterday evening and I wasn't expecting that. It was nice and sunny in the afternoon after the morning rain. But suddenly dark clouds came in, the wind picked up and it got wet out. Even with the clouds there they moved enough that I caught sight of that pink full moon briefly yesterday.

My sister came home from the hospital around 10 pm. It's a thumb fracture but instead of giving her a taped up finger splint they gave her a removable velcro thumb and wrist cast. Fortunately it's her left thumb and she's right handed so it won't interfere with her artwork business. She hasn't been selling three dimensional mixed media artwork lately that requires the use of both hands. She's been sticking with drawing with colored pencils and ink and using acrylic paints on watercolor paper or canvas. It was two years ago this month she broke her left wrist in a fall. Last night she jammed up her hand. She didn't say how but it probably was carrying one of those heavy fold up tables from the yard sale.

I managed to get an eye doctor appointment for tomorrow morning. Bloodwork is scheduled for Friday afternoon. I have to call to schedule the Dexa bone scan and set up an initial PT evaluation appointment for early next week. Busy time for me with medical appointments.
