It's sun and clouds, windy, and in the upper 50s headed to the upper 60s. It will dip down into the 40s tonight so the furnace will go back on this evening. Wednesday and Thursday are going to be the worst weather-wise, chilly and rainy with highs in the 50s and lows in the mid 40s. I have to wear loose clothing with no metal in it for the MRI on Thursday morning so that means my elastic waist linen cropped pants which are great for hot and humid July and August days, but the fabric is a bit thin for a rainy day with temperatures in the upper 40s during the morning hours. I'll need to crank up the heat in the car as I drive to my appointment.

I got the lawn mowed yesterday. It really needed it. Boy, did the grass grow fast with all that rain we had! Last year we had the drought so I didn't need to mow much at all. With all the recent rain my area is no longer in drought. The parts of the state still in mild drought are in the northwest corner of the state and parts of South Jersey. With all the recent rain everything is very green and lush outside. Our rosebush with the peach colored roses is now in bloom, as are the irises.

It's an errands afternoon here including a trip to the supermarket. I'm down to one slice of bread and am getting low on milk, plus a few other things. Afterwards I have to get the recycling out to the curb. I need to finish cutting the last branches of that tree limb to get them out to the curb tomorrow evening. Some time soon I need to squeeze in a trip to the laundromat.

The roof repair is scheduled for some time next week. They'll call me the day before to let me know. Much better than this week with too much for me to take care of on the non-rainy days.
