This afternoon I need to drive to the bank on the other side of town now that our nearby branch has shut down. This bank is shutting a lot of physical branches down to force customers to do online banking or call their customer service number, but that's useless when you need to withdraw cash from the ATM. It's a stupid policy.
I'll run into the supermarket afterwards.
I keep on getting text and email reminders about my upcoming MRI of my bad ankle scheduled for later next week. This started yesterday. They'll keep doing this everyday until the actual appointment time itself. By next Monday I'll be getting robo calls reminding me of my appointment as well. I already confirmed the appointment via text this morning, but they'll call to make me confirm again next week, then they'll make me confirm by text a second time or send a text telling me I need to sign into MyChart to confirm yet again. This hospital goes completely overboard with the endless reminders and confirmation requests. I have to go through this nonsense for doctors appointments with the orthopedists as well. I do need to make an appointment to see the foot and ankle orthopedist for after the MRI. You don't call the office directly, you call a general number for all their office locations and wait on hold, then a CSR has to set up the appointment at your desired office location for you. Unnecessarily complicated.
