Our house is 110 years old. The houses in my neighborhood are different ages including genuine Victorian era houses. But over time the lots got filled in and everyone is on 1/8 of an acre with mostly colonial style houses. So it's tough when the next door neighbors are trouble. I thought the husband driving away meant this nonsense was over, but apparently he just ran an errand they really are on a staycation this week. Too bad since the mood in the neighborhood lightens a little when they go away on real vacations. It's when the family across the street from us feels free to take down their enclosed porch curtains to wash them, since no creepy neighbors home to spy on them.
