Now that the kids were dismissed for the day at the neighborhood school I can lug out the lawnmower in a while and do the first cut of the year. I need to finish with that branch in the backyard which needs to be cut up when the weirdo next door neighbors quit whatever racket they're making in their backyard driveway near the fence.
I need them to either go back in the house or drive away so I don't have to deal with their petty nonsense. They completely sucked all the life out of us spending time outdoors at home. No more backyard grilling, no more eating out in the backyard, no more sitting out on the front porch. They need to stand there, stare at you, and loudly gossip about you. They're in the late 50's-early 60s with no kids, pets, or actual hobbies apparently, so this is their life outside of their jobs. Tomorrow is the yard waste pickup day so I would like to be able to do yardwork in peace.
It's horrifying how little I got at the supermarket for $55 dollars yesterday and I was just picking up odds and ends. I bought foam craft paint brushes at Michaels for doing the touchup on the outdoor paint where the downspout goes. Boy did the price go up on them! They have a buy one get one 50% off on yarn sale this week. I bought two skeins of their the Loops and Threads DK, weight #3 yarn in a pink/white/lavender variegated color scheme for trying to revive my knitting lace skills.
