The rain stopped but the clouds are still lingering. It's windy of course and only in the mid 50s today, so damp and chilly.

Even though it's chilly today it will hit 80 on Tuesday and it looks very springlike around town. The magnolias and dogwoods are in bloom. There are tulips and daffodils on everyone's lawns. Our African violets are in bloom. The bleeding hearts are starting to bloom.

Just a home day here getting ready for the new week. I'll call my sister after dinner to discuss the roofer estimates. I'm definitely leaning towards the lower bid of the two where we paint the trim ourselves afterwards. The higher bid seems like there's bill padding with double the cost vs the lower bid. I should try to track down that quart can of house paint down the basement, and run to Home Depot for paint brushes tomorrow.
