did not go on the cross walk this year. knee is still smarting. we walk about 2 miles some up hill. down hill okay. we stop at 4 churches. bible readings and singing

Wow! Two miles up and down hills? The neighborhood church with the cross walk just walks all the way around one block at lunchtime praying and singing, then they go down to the church basement to share a meal together. The churches around here don't coordinate events with each other like that.

Because the Eastern Orthodox churches are celebrating Easter the same week this year the neighborhood Orthodox church isn't having a midnight mass tonight because the Catholic Church is and their cars are parked all over the neighborhood.

It got up to 80 degrees this afternoon. It started out sunny but later turned cloudy. They said an evening rainshower was possible but nothing here. I stopped by the supermarket after dinner as the holiday food shopping rush had wound down. I got cupcakes for tomorrow's desert.
